Wellesley College offers a class in mathematics and politics
In spring 2020, Wellesley College is offering a class on Mathematics and Politics as part of its First-year Seminar Program. The class will cover topics such as voting, apportionment, quantification of power, gerrymandering, and cryptography. The format will be a combination of lecture, discussion, and group activities and class materials and assignments will be a unique blend of mathematics, economics, political science, and history.
