We welcome students to volunteer for the Institute of Mathematics and Democracy in a variety of capacities. If you wish to learn more about such opportunities, please send us an email at contact@math-democracy.org with a short description of your interests.

Various ways to get involved include:
  • Organizing panel discussions and workshops on mathematics and politics;
  • Developing curricula for middle and high school classrooms;
  • Searching for funding opportunities and helping with grant-writing;
  • Establishing and coordinating outreach programs for the wider community;
  • Finding ways to broaden IMD’s audience on a national level;
  • Communicating with mathematics departments at other institutions to coordinate activities.
