We welcome students to volunteer for the Institute of Mathematics and Democracy in a variety of capacities. If you wish to learn more about such opportunities, please send us an email at contact@math-democracy.org with a short description of your interests.
Various ways to get involved include:
- Organizing panel discussions and workshops on mathematics and politics;
- Developing curricula for middle and high school classrooms;
- Searching for funding opportunities and helping with grant-writing;
- Establishing and coordinating outreach programs for the wider community;
- Finding ways to broaden IMD’s audience on a national level;
- Communicating with mathematics departments at other institutions to coordinate activities.
