Summer course in mathematics and politics
Wellesley College will be offering a course on Mathematics and Politics as part of its 2020 Summer Programs. This six-week, for-credit undergraduate course will run from June 1 to July 10, and is open to high school students. Topics that will be covered are voting, apportionment, quantification of power, and gerrymandering. The prerequisite is strong algebra background, and no political science experience is necessary.
