Ranked Choice Voting – IMD x CPE Event
The Committee for Political Engagement of the Wellesley College Student Government and the Institute for Mathematics and Democracy are hosting an informational event on Ranked Choice Voting in the PNE Atrium on Tuesday, April 23 at 7 p.m. Soft pretzels from Auntie Anne’s will be served!
Come join us to hear from Nathan Lockwood, the Executive Director of Rank the Vote—the leading grassroots advocacy organization that helps everyday people build robust movements for ranked choice voting in their own states!
We will also be joined by Prof. Ismar Volić, Co-Founder of the Institute for Mathematics and Democracy and author of Making Democracy Count: How Mathematics Improves Voting, Electoral Maps, and Representation.
This event will help you understand the logistics of Ranked Choice Voting and the fundamentals of advocating for it, so you can catalyze action at Wellesley and beyond!
