Mathematical Association of America Grant to Fund 2025 High School Summer Research

Each year, IMD hosts a summer research program for high school students to conduct research at the intersection of mathematics and politics. Recently, the Mathematical Association of America (MAA) awarded IMD with a Dolciani Mathematics Enrichment Grant to fund the summer 2025 program.

Dolciani Mathematics Enrichment Grants, endowed by the Mary P. Dolciani Halloran Foundation, support initiatives working with promising middle and high school students with an interest in mathematics. IMD is grateful to MAA for their interest in engaging high school students in important and timely mathematical research.

The 2024 High School Summer Research program has sixteen participants led by six faculty in five research projects. We look forward to continuing the program in 2025 with MAA’s support!
