IMD Affiliates Launch New Electoral Reform Organization
IMD affiliates Dr. Wesley H. Holliday (University of California, Berkeley) and Dr. Eric Pacuit (University of Maryland) have helped to launch Better Choices for Democracy, a new nonprofit electoral reform organization. Their involvement in the organization is based on their research in voting theory.
The organization advocates for consensus choice voting, a form of ranked choice voting, as a way of creating a more effective and representative U.S. government. Their website includes in-depth explanations of this form of voting, as well as relevant academic research and other resources. Congratulations, Dr. Holliday and Dr. Pacuit!
